When you're In The Zone, you are operating at your peak, and enjoying every minute of it. It's the kind of feeling we see in the highlight moments of sports broadcasts, when an athlete performs with excellence and exhilaration — and, like the great performers in every field, we can get there if we know what it takes.
Dr. Ray Mulry combines his deep and practical knowledge of the inner dynamics of athletic and mental proficiency with his wide experience and skill as a trainer and therapist to present the key elements of mind/body mastery: Relaxation, Balance, Flexibility, and Focus. Dr. Mulry explores both the mental and physical aspects of each of these four keys showing how to establish them as the base for any action from sports to leadership. In this book, readers will learn how to: develop confidence; improve their game in any sport; maximize efficiency through focused action; win the inner game; prevent injury.
This is an actual hands-on program — easy to read, carefully explained, well illustrated — it takes you through the physical and mental exercises that will help build proficiencies and increase your power to perform in any endeavor, at any time.
